The History and Future of Blind Installation & Repair

In 2022, Blind Installation & Repair will celebrate our 30th year in business. In that long history, our company has grown from one employee to more than 20. Our office has moved from our founder’s home to a 3,000 square foot building to our 11,000 square foot facility in Crystal. Our services have changed, too, going from only blind installation, adding repair services and now, retail sales.

Yes, that’s right – Blind Installation & Repair will now offer all services direct to the consumer. We’ve proudly operated as the “finishing touch” for customers throughout our 29-year-history, focusing on installation and repair of blinds and window coverings. As Hunter Douglas certified installers, we’ve worked closely with local retailers and designers to perform this essential service for their customers.

Now, however, as the industry has changed, and after the turmoil of COVID-19, we’ve made the necessary decision to move into direct sales of blinds and window coverings. This decision will allow our business to survive and grow for the next 30 years – and beyond.

We Still Fix Blinds!

We will still offer our core services of blind installation and repair – it’s our name, after all! But we’re excited to be able to serve our customers along every step of the process, from design, ordering, to installing and (if needed) making repairs. We’re committed to meeting our customers’ needs, and ensuring that Blind Installation & Repair remains a successful and forward-thinking business.
